So June, is "long bean" "string bean"? Is it common bean? Also how come long bean isn't in plural as in long beans? These little things about English will forever prevent me from getting it right. Dang.
That's right. I always wonder why it's a fringe but not a bang but bangs. Why is it "many a thing"? These things are confusing, but these are the very things that make non-English speakers sound like non-English speakers, aren't they?

You can say Chinese long beanS, I believe. So I learned in my Japanese class the other day that you don't have plural nouns in Japanese language! >_<
