fresh basil is soo delish. i suggest lots o water and sun. my landlord had basil and thai basil in the backyard this past summer.. we had lots of rain and sun - they were growing like weeds!
I got one too and named mine Bruno! Today is day 5. I saw you made pesto with it, that's awesome!
