Eggplant / Brinjal is one of my favorite vegetable. I can use it for either in curry, stir fried with dried shrimps and chilli paste or in pasta. I like the drawing you made and I must say the bowl is rather cute of the blowfish or is it a blowfish?

You add some doubanjiang and thicken it with corn starch, and you get mapo eggplant. Well, more or less, no?Do you read/write Japanese? It looks awfully good.
